About Us
Lincolnville Farmers' Market

Sponsored by non-profit organization Lift Up Lincolnville Revitalization Corp., we aim to bring fresh, local food to the City proper, create strong community feeling in a very diverse neighborhood, and promote Lincolnville’s proud Civil Rights history. Future plans are to serve every income-level by accepting WIC and Food Stamps (SNAP), and to create a Sunday trolley package that will include a fascinating history-filled tour of Lincolnville, a visit to the very successful adjoining Community Garden and final destination--our new Lincolnville Farmers' Market for shopping and lunch.

Long a "food desert," with only convenience store "pretzel and beer" fare, the city proper now boasts a market that bucks the continuing growth of "life-style" diseases by bringing back sane and healthy choices to St. Johns' County residents and our visitors. Our goal is to satisfy every income-level of this city's diverse population. To this end, we will soon begin accepting WIC (Women, Infants & Children) as well as SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits with the adoption of an EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) system.

The market is sure to appeal to families, students, tourists, and the business community both in the city of St. Augustine and surrounding neighborhoods. Efforts are underway to create a Sunday trolley package that will include a fascinating history-filled tour of Lincolnville, a visit to the very successful adjoining Community Garden and final destination--our new Farmers' Market for shopping and lunch.
